March Film Night

CSW Film Night at our new meeting location presents a short video on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 6:00 pm. The address is 1157 Oakdale Street (north of WEST 12th Street off of Park Ave. — just west of Park Avenue, two doors north of 12 Street, on the east side of the street, the porch light will be on).

This month we have two short videos, "The Aluminization of Our Soils" (15 minutes), and "Pilots, Doctors & Scientists — The Chemtrail Truth" (11 minutes).

Hope to see you there. Bring a friend! (or two)

A discussion will follow the video, including ways to protect ourselves from the environmental assault.

Update on KZFR Underwriting

Betty, Lauren and Marla attended the KZFR Board Meeting this week to discuss our status as a former underwriter and to appeal for reinstatement. It seems the crux of the problem was the wording of our on-air statement. We have revised it to eliminate any hint of opinion and it has been re-submitted for their approval. Our "spot" gets read about 20 times per month for an $80 donation and reaches thousands of listeners. Please donate toward this expense.

Presentation to the Chico Guild

We warmly encourage your participation in a very special event. It is rare that a civic group wants to have a Sky Watch program. However, the open-minded Chico Guild (formerly the Grange) has asked us to speak on Tuesday, April 4th, 6:30 to 7:30.

We'll show some very short videos, explain the lab results for 15 local water samples that we sent to a state-certified lab, and explain the harm aluminum can cause the environment and all the living creatures in it. The last 20 minutes will be for questions. All welcome at 6:00 for the potluck dinner. Admission is free.

The Guild may sponsor a bipartisan forum in October as a public service, so our April program is a preview they asked for in order to decide. Our program will be tight so we want to reserve the question time for newbies in the hall, but a full house will assure the Guild members that this is a very important topic.

CSUC Sustainability Conference in March

We will be handing out fliers at the 12th annual CSU Sustainability Conference on Thursday and Friday, March 23 & 24. "This Way to Sustainability" has dozens of workshops and some great keynote speakers. Attendance for Students is Free with valid student ID. Non-Student admission is $50 for full two days and $35 for one day.

38th Annual Endangered Species Faire in May

CSW will have a booth at this year's 38th Annual Endangered Species Faire sponsored by the Butte Environmental Council (BEC), to be held on Saturday, May 6th, 2017 from 11 am - 4 pm at One Mile Picnic Area in Lower Bidwell Park.

This will be our fourth year of attendance. We chat about Climate Engineering with curious faire goers to educate and inform and make them aware of GeoEngineering. We need volunteers at our table for an hour! (or however long you can be there) It's fun and our new banners will attract attention to our table so we need some extra help!

WANTED: CSU Students to Form Campus Sky Watch Club

Any students within earshot? A club / organization on campus is our top goal for getting the word out because GeoEngineering will be affecting our youth for much longer than it will us oldsters. A professor has agreed to be the club adviser. It takes only three interested students to form a club, which can then have access to campus meeting rooms and facilities, like tabling at the Free Speech Area. Chico Sky Watch will offer whatever guidance and support the club requests. A group could also be started at Butte College.
