Next Meeting is Wednesday, February 11 at 6:30 pm

Spring is in the Air!   (filled with GAStrails)

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has. — Margaret Mead

Our next meeting will be Wednesday, February 11, at 6:30 pm at the Chico branch of the Butte County Library at 1108 Sherman Ave. corner of First Ave.
Please attend, bring a friend, and spread the word far and wide.

Our January meeting was well-attended and people were excited about doing something to stop the daily attacks in our skies. Springtime is in the air, and that means it's Action/Activism time. Our next meeting will therefore have as part of the agenda the items listed below.

First, we want to remind people that we need them to act with the following guidelines in mind at the meetings. This is particularly important when the numbers are larger.

• Discussion guidelines: We expect our meetings to be conducted in an atmosphere of respect where everyone can express their thoughts and be heard. To this end we follow these guidelines:

  • Raise hand to be recognized by chair.
  • Keep your comments concise and to the point.
  • Only one person speaks at a time. Don't interrupt the person speaking.
  • Stay on topic. Don't break the thread. Respond to the previous speaker before making your own comment.

These are the Agenda items we will discuss:

• Discussion Topics and Projects

  • April 15 Global Chemtrail event, corner of 5th St. & Main
  • Film at Pageant — which film, when, promotion (help with posting flyers), etc.
  • CSUC: Tabling in Free Speech area; official CSUC student group needed
  • Guest speaker at CSW meetings
  • Flyers with our meeting dates and introductory info (see below)
  • Tabling at Farmers' Market on Saturday mornings
  • Other ideas

We have created a new "Meeting Flyer" for 2015. Here is a snapshot image of what it looks like, front and back. There are 4-up on an 8.5" x 11" page, so smaller, quarter-page-sized flyers. Click on the image to download / view the PDF document. If you take care, you can probably print your own. We are going to print a few hundred or so. They should be available at the meeting.

NOTE: We have a new Meeting Organizer, Terra Bocast, for 2015. She is running the meetings now to help out Marla and Chico Sky Watch. Meetings will no longer necessarily be on the second Tuesday of each month, or from 6:30 to 9:30, so please pay attention to the dates and times shown below. Meetings tend to be from 1 hour to 2 hours in length, depending on various factors.

We have reserved the Meeting Room at the Chico branch of the Butte County public library for discussion and showing films on the following evenings. Please make a note on your calendar or scheduler.

    • Wednesday,   February 11 — 6:30 pm
    • Wednesday,   March 18 — 6:30 pm
    • Wednesday,   April 8 — 7:30 pm

Look to the skies for the obvious evidence.

What you see in our once-blue skies are NOT jet "contrails". (or so-called "persistent contrails")
